Reverend Lonnie Cheramie is a lifelong resident of South Louisiana and comes to us with many years of ministerial experience.  Pastor Lonnie achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree from St Joseph Seminary College and received a Master of Divinity from Notre Dame School of Theology.  He was ordained to the Presbyterate on May 27, 2000 and has served several church communities and leadership positions throughout his ministry.  In January 2020, MCC of New Orleans' Pastoral Search Team and the Board of Directors formally recommended to the congregation Rev. Lonnie's selection as the next Pastor of this faith community.  By unanimous consent of the members, Reverend Lonnie Cheramie became the eighteenth Pastor in the 49-year history of Metropolitan Community Church of New Orleans.

As our Music Director, Ryan LeJeune brings over 15 years of worship leading experience from various denominations. Ranging from baptist college ministry on his college campus, baptist churches, episcopal churches, non-denominational, christian churches and the list continues. He was the Music Director of MCC New Orleans from 2011 through 2018 and then returning in July 2019.
